Chelsea reportedly face a battle to keep hold of Serbia international Nemanja Matic at the end of the season, according to the Daily Mail.
The defending Premier League champions, who visit league leaders Arsenal on Sunday, fear the defensive midfielder questions his own future at Stamford Bridge after an alarming dip in form for the club this term.
The 27-year-old, who has 26 international caps for his country, has scored one goal in 28 appearances in all competitions for Guus Hiddink’s side this season.
Matic, who cost the Blues a reported £21m just over two years ago, is currently in his second spell at Chelsea having arrived from MFK Košice back in August 2009 before being offloaded to Benfica in January 2011.
The report suggests Chelsea teammates already believe Matic is considering switching clubs this summer after failing to rediscover his impressive form under former manager Jose Mourinho last season.
