Chelsea will look to bank three points when they face Newcastle United after the international break.

The West Londoners secured a massive 4-1 win against fierce London rivals Tottenham Hotspur two weeks ago.

A late Cole Palmer penalty then earned the Blues a point in a thrilling 4-4 draw against Premier League leaders Manchester City.

Those results have seen the Blues rise to 10th in the Premier League table.

Chelsea’s opponents next weekend, the Magpies, currently sit in seventh place.

After spending heavily on new players last year, the West London outfit bolstered their squad again this summer.

The Blues have spent over £1 billion since Todd Boehly took over the club in 2022.

It appears the squad of players have started to gel together under manager Mauricio Pochettino.

However, Chelsea have plans for more incomings in the January transfer window and are ready to challenge their closest rivals for them

Chelsea will be looking to add to the strength of their squad depth.

According to Football Insider, Chelsea are ready to battle Tottenham and Fulham for Club Brugge winger Antonio Nusa.

The report claims that all three clubs are highly interested in the teenager and that £30m will be required to acquire his services in January.

Nusa, 18, has made nine Jupiler Pro League appearances for Club Brugge this season.

In those nine games, the 18-year-old has scored two goals and notched two assists.

His performances in Belgium have caught the eye of many clubs and have gathered the winger a lot of interest.

The Norway international is versatile and can play anywhere across the front three.

The teenager has earned four senior appearances for Norway and netted a goal for his nation.

The Norwegian has recently signed a long-term contract with his club, keeping him there until 2027.

Premier League clubs will undoubtedly monitor the winger further before launching a potential move.
