Chelsea manager Graham Potter will be boosted by the return of Joao Felix when his side face West Ham United on Saturday.

The Portugal international was sent off on his Blues debut against Fulham last month, but he had impressed prior to his dismissal and Chelsea supporters will be eager to see the forward in action once again.

The frontline has caused Potter several problems since he took charge, with both Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Kai Havertz having failed to score regularly.

New signing David Datro Fofana has looked relatively impressive during his two substitute appearances for the club, but Chelsea could still look to sign a striker this summer.

According to 90min, The Blues will prioritise a move for Napoli forward Victor Osimhen during the upcoming summer transfer window.

It is claimed that Chelsea have sent scouts to watch the player previously, and they are now intent on beating several other clubs to his signature.

Osimhen, 24, has been in sensational form for Napoli this season, scoring 16 goals and providing four assists in 17 Serie A matches.

Osimhen is believed to be a target for Chelsea

The Nigeria international’s goals have helped propel Napoli to the summit of the league table, and he has been linked with a move to several clubs including Manchester United.

Osimhen’s current contract is set to expire in two-and-a-half years, putting Napoli under very little pressure to sell this summer.

The Italian side are reportedly demanding around £130 million for the striker, although it is also claimed that the figure hasn’t deterred Chelsea’s interest.

Osimhen joined Napoli from French side Lille back in 2020 and has since scored 45 goals in 83 games for the Italian side across all competitions.

Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku is currently on loan in Italy with Inter Milan and, while he is set to return to Stamford Bridge at the end of this season, his future as a Blues player remains uncertain.

If Osimhen were to arrive, Aubameyang would be likely to leave the club as Havertz and Fofana appear to be ahead of him in the pecking order.

The ex-Arsenal man was left out of Chelsea’s Champions League squad last week, and didn’t feature in the match day squad for their game against Fulham.
