The Thomas Tuchel era at Stamford Bridge could prove to be one of the most successful on record if the German can mastermind success in both the Champions League and FA Cup.

The Blues face Leicester City in the FA Cup final next month, whilst a crucial away goal in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid has put them in a promising position to proceed to the final in Istanbul and bid for a second Champions League triumph.

Aside from an outstanding defensive record, which has contributed to 16 clean sheets in 22 games, another notable aspect of Tuchel’s reign has been his use of their entire senior squad.

Third-choice ‘keeper Willy Caballero is the only member of the side yet to feature under the former Paris Saint-Germain boss, and the semi-final against Real was the first time that he has named an unchanged side from the previous match.

Despite Tuchel’s regular rotation, one player who has found himself out of favour at Stamford bridge since his arrival is Tammy Abraham.

The England international was a regular under previous manager Frank Lampard and was the club’s top scorer before his dismissal, but has featured just six times since the change at the helm and it appears he could now be on his way out of SW6.

According to the Telegraph, Chelsea have attached a £40 million price tag on the 23-year-old, with a number of potential Premier League suitors interested.

The report states that Abraham will be allowed to leave, along with soon to be out-of-contract Olivier Giroud, in order to save around £200,000 per week on the club’s wage bill.

Abraham has been out of favour since Tuchel’s arrival.

West Ham and Leicester City are rumoured to be two of the club’s keeping tabs on the player who has scored 11 goals in all competitions this term despite a lack of recent game time.

Chelsea are reportedly keen on raising funds in order to support a move for a new centre forward, with Timo Werner failing to impress in front of goal.

Erling Braut Haaland and Romelu Lukaku are reportedly top of the club’s summer wishlist, however a move for the former may prove unrealistic with Manchester City also rumoured to be interested in the Dortmund superstar.
