Mauricio Pochettino may not have officially taken charge of Chelsea yet, but the Argentina will undoubtedly have been working hard behind the scenes.

The former Tottenham Hotspur boss was named as the Blues’ new head coach on Monday, signing a two-year deal with the option of a third.

Pochettino succeeds Frank Lampard, who had taken temporary charge of the club following Graham Potter’s sacking in April.

The 51-year-old will have plenty of work to do this summer as he looks to prepare his side for next term.

This season, Chelsea finished 12th in the Premier League table and failed to progress past the third round of either domestic cup competition.

Both Potter and Lampard failed to manage the bloated squad that owner Todd Boehly has assembled over the past year.

The American has spent more than £500 million on 16 new signings since taking charge of the club, and it appears that several players will depart Stamford Bridge during the upcoming window.

Now, one of Chelsea’s biggest stars has reportedly received an offer to leave the club.

As per 90min, midfielder N’Golo Kante has received an offer from a Saudi Arabian club.

The Frenchman’s current contract with Chelsea is set to expire at the end of next month, leaving his future very uncertain.

The report claims that Kante is keeping his options open amid interest from several clubs across Europe, while he could also remain at Chelsea.

Kante was believed to have reached an agreement with the London side over a contract extension earlier this year, but he hasn’t yet signed a new deal.

The 32-year-old joined Chelsea from Leicester City back in 2016 after helping the Foxes to the Premier League title, and he played a key role as the Blues lifted the trophy the following season.

In total, the France international has made 269 appearances for his current club, winning six trophies including the Champions League, Europa League and FA Cup.

The report claims that French giants Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing the player on a free transfer, while he also has admirers in Serie A.

This season, Kante made just nine appearances across all competitions as struggled with a hamstring injury for several months.

The report claims that the player is set for new talks with Chelsea over a possible extension, and he will also discuss his future with incoming manager Pochettino.
