Chelsea welcome London rivals West Ham United to Stamford Bridge in an intriguing clash on Monday night.

Hammers boss Graham Potter will return to SW6 for the first time since being sacked as Blues’ head coach in April 2023, while current manager Enzo Maresca will hope to see his side return to winning ways.

Chelsea have won just one of their last seven matches in the Premier League and have fallen from second place to seventh in the table since Boxing Day.

Off the pitch the West London outfit have been quiet during the transfer window so far, although it remains to be seen whether or not those in charge of the club’s recruitment will bolster Maresca’s squad before Monday’s 11pm deadline.

Several of Chelsea’s current players have been linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge, and it appears that one fringe player could soon be on his way to Italy.

According to Football Insider, Aston Villa are set to miss out on forward Joao Felix with the Portuguese likely to join Italian outfit AC Milan.

Felix, 25, returned to Chelsea last summer having previously spent time on loan at the London club.

The attacker has since endured a frustrating time in the capital, though, and has primarily been used in the Europa Conference League and the domestic cup competitions.

In total Felix has played 20 times this season, but he has started just three of the Blues’ 23 Premier League matches.

The report claims that Felix was in attendance at Milan’s 1-1 draw against fierce rivals Inter on Sunday, with the Italian outfit confident of agreeing a late move for the player.

Felix signed a long-term contract when he joined the Blues last year and is tied down to the club until 2030, but it remains to be seen whether or not he will remain with the club beyond this week.
