Chelsea will hope to record their second straight away victory in the Premier League when they face Bournemouth on Saturday night.

Enzo Maresca’s side cruised to an impressive 6-2 win over Wolves at Molineux in their first away match of the new Premier League season, before being held to a 1-1 draw by Crystal Palace prior to the international break.

The Italian will hope to see his side return to winning ways on the south coast, but the Cherries will undoubtedly provide a stern test for the Blues.

In the meantime, it appears that a Chelsea player’s proposed move away from the club is on the verge of collapse.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, striker David Datro Fofana’s move to AEK Athens has hit a snag with the Greek side requesting different terms after a verbal agreement had been reached.

Fofana spent last season on loan at Burnley

Jacobs claims that there are no doubts over whether or not the proposed deal will be finalised before the Greek transfer window slams shut on Wednesday evening.

He claims the deal for the 21-year-old now hangs in the balance, with just hours to go until the window shuts for Greek Super League sides.

Ivory Coast international Fofana joined Chelsea from Norwegian outfit Molde in January last year but has since made just four appearances for the Blues.

He spent the first half of last season on loan at German side Union Berlin but, after returning to England in January, he was then spent to Burnley for the remainder of the campaign.

The Ivorian striker netted four times in 15 games for the Clarets, but he was unable to prevent Vincent Kompany’s side from being relegated at the end of last term.
