Chelsea learned their opponents for the League Phase of the Europa Conference League on Friday.

Enzo Marecsa’s side will face Shamrock Rovers, Noah, Gent, Heidenheim, Panathinaikos and Astana in the newly reformed competition, with fixture dates set to be confirmed on Saturday.

The Blues will undoubtedly be favourites to win the competition, although they were beaten 2-1 by Swiss side Servette in the second leg of their play-off tie on Thursday.

In the meantime, the West London side have reportedly lodged two sensational offers for a Manchester United star.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have made two proposals for United winger Jadon Sancho.

Romano claims that both offers include an initial season-long loan deal for the Englishman, with one option being an option-to-buy clause and the other including an obligation to do so.

Sancho could make a shock late move to Chelsea

Sancho, 24, joined the Red Devils from German side Borussia Dortmund in 2021 but has endured a difficult time at Old Trafford.

He has scored just 12 times and provided only six assists in 83 games for United across all competitions, and he was loaned back to Dortmund in January last year after falling out with manager Erik ten Hag.

Sancho hasn’t played since being substituted on and missing a penalty during United’s Community Shield shootout defeat against Manchester City earlier this month.

He is contracted to United until the end of the 2025/26 season, but it appears increasingly likely that he will depart the club on Friday.

Romano also claims that Chelsea have reached a complete agreement on personal terms with the player, who has been capped 23 times by England but hasn’t played for the Three Lions since October 2021.
