Chelsea will be looking to secure another win on Sunday when they welcome Manchester City to Stamford Bridge.

However, Pep Guardiola’s side will provide a very tough battle for the Blues as they look to remain at the top of the Premier League.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men defeated rivals Tottenham Hotspur 4-1 in a fierce London derby clash on Monday.

A Cole Palmer penalty and a Nicolas Jackson hattrick secured Chelsea all three points at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

The result saw the West Londoners rise to 10th in the Premier League table.

Pochettino will be hoping that the win will be the turning point for his side’s season after their sluggish start to the campaign.

The West London outfit spent over £400m this summer to bolster their squad further.

One of their signings was goalkeeper Robert Sanchez, who switched from Brighton and Hove Albion.

Despite bringing a ‘keeper in the summer, Chelsea are apparently planning to improve that area in January.

According to Football Insider, Chelsea are planning to sign a new goalkeeper to replace Robert Sanchez as the number one.

The report claims that the Blues will aim to improve the ‘keeper position despite signing Sanchez from the Seagulls for £25m.

Kepa Arrizabalaga was the regular option between the sticks last season for the West Londoners, but he was loaned out to Real Madrid this summer.

Sanchez, 25, has started in all 14 games for Chelsea this season and has conceded 13 goals within those fixtures.

Sanchez has started all competitive games for Chelsea since joining the club.

The Spaniard has also kept five clean sheets this season.

The 25-year-old has bagged himself the September Save of the Month award in the Premier League for his fabulous effort to deny Aston Villa’s Nicolo Zaniolo.

After signing a seven-year deal upon his switch to West London, Sanchez is contracted to the club until 2030.
