Chelsea have made Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell and Ajax star Hakim Ziyech their top summer transfer targets, according to reports.

The Blues are able to sign players once more after their two-window transfer ban was lifted last month.

However, it’s reported by ESPN that Frank Lampard has his eyes on recruiting players at the end of the season rather in January.

They claim that Chilwell and Ziyech are top of the Chelsea’s boss’ shopping list as he aims to strengthen his full-back and attacking midfield options.

Chilwell has starred for Leicester over the past few seasons and has become England’s first-choice left-back.

Chilwell has played 112 times for Leicester City.

The 23-year-old is valued at £80million by the Foxes meaning the London club would need to fork out a significant sum of money.

Meanwhile, Ziyech played a key part in Ajax’s run to the Champions League semi-finals last term.

The Morocco international, who has eight goals and 16 assists so far this season, is also thought to be interesting Manchester United.

Away from the transfer window, Lampard will be preparing his side for this upcoming weekend’s Premier League match at Leicester.

The Blues are currently fourth in the table, eight points behind their third placed hosts and six ahead of fifth placed Manchester United.
