Chelsea will battle Manchester United to sign Birmingham City star Jude Bellingham, according to reports.

The 16-year-old became the Blues’ youngest ever player and scorer this term in a breakthrough season which has delivered 34 appearances in all competitions.

Manchester Evening News report that the teenager has attracted strong interest from Manchester United and that the Red Devils gave him a tour of their Carrington training complex on Monday.

Jude Bellingham looks set to go on to big things.

However, it’s claimed that the England youth international has also held talks with Chelsea with Frank Lampard reportedly looking to add to his squad.

The Blues currently have fellow midfield talents Mason Mount, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Billy Gilmour but look like they want to add another to their list.

Bellingham, who is also thought to be attracting the attentions of Borussia Dortmund, could cost any buyer in the region of £50million.

Birmingham have had the midfielder on their books since the age of seven and he has since developed into one of the finest young players in the country.
