Chelsea fans haven’t had much to moan about since Thomas Tuchel took charge in January.

Blues supporters have seen their team’s form take a turn for the better, resulting in them winning both the Champions League and UEFA Super Cup.

Now also sitting top of the Premier League with nine games played, the German seems to have the club on track to potentially land a first top-flight crown since 2017.

But despite possessing a squad packed full of quality who are delivering the results on the pitch, it’s reported that Chelsea are interested in bringing a former hero back to Stamford Bridge.

Eden Hazard left the Blues to join Real Madrid in 2019 after a stellar seven-year spell in West London.

However, the Belgium superstar has struggled for form and fitness since moving to Spain and, according to ESPN’s James Olley, Chelsea and newly backed Newcastle United would be interested in bringing the 30-year-old back to England.

After signing from Lille in 2012, Hazard shone for the Blues, scoring 110 goals in 352 games and helping the club win six major honours.

Despite struggling at Real – with just 5 goals in 52 games to his name – a return to Chelsea could be what’s needed to reignite his career.

But with Newcastle United also looking to make a statement in the market as well, could we see the brilliant Belgian in the famous black and white stripes?
