Chelsea are reportedly ready to rival Real Madrid and Barcelona in the race to sign highly-rated FC Porto midfielder Ruben Neves.
After a poor start to the season, Blues manager Jose Mourinho is already identifying possible transfer targets for the January transfer window. The 18-year-old is near the top of his list, although the Spanish giants are said to be scouting him as well.
The Portugal Under-21 international made his debut for the Primeira Liga outfit at the age of 17 and five months, capping his bow off with a goal, before making his debut in the Champions League just five days later.
Neves made 37 appearances in all competitions in the 2014-15 season, scoring one goal.
