Chelsea are open to selling left-back Marcos Alonso, according to reports.

The 29-year-old joined the club from Fiorentina in the summer of 2016 and has played 134 matches in all competitions.

Since Frank Lampard took charge, the Spaniard has had to settle for second-choice behind fellow left-back Emerson and has started just six Premier League matches this term.

However, The Telegraph report that the West London side could sell Alonso with Inter Milan keen to purchase.

It’s claimed current Inter boss Antonio Conte, who brought the ex-Bolton man to Stamford Bridge, wants a reunion in Italy.

Conte won the Premier League and FA Cup under Conte at Chelsea.

Alonso, who it’s thought was a target for Atletico Madrid in the summer, has a contract that runs until 2023 with Chelsea.

This means the Blues can ask for a decent feee for the player who, it’s claimed, earns in excess of £100,000 a week.
