Chelsea winger Willian will join Barcelona this summer when his contract expires in June, according to the Daily Mail

It seems that this story is not just speculation, as reports suggest Willian’s representatives have held two meetings with the La Liga club over a summer transfer.

The Brazil international joined Chelsea back in 2013 and has gone on to make 323 appearances and score 57 goals for the West London club, winning many trophies in the process.

Coutinho has struggled to make a real impact with Barcelona.

However, despite telling the media he was happy to stay at Stamford Bridge, the 31-year-old has failed to sign a new contract and looks set to make a summer move.

The Mail have also reported that Willian shares the same agency (SportInvest) as Philippe Coutinho, who joined the Nou Camp from Liverpool in 2018.

This story will note come as a surprise to either Chelsea boss Frank Lampard or the fans, as Willian was close to joining Barcelona a couple of seasons ago, but decided to stay put.
