NICE – Eden Hazard

Eden Hazard has been back to his best this season after a torrid time last term.

The Belgian international looked slow and lacklustre for much of last season, and scored just four Premier League goals for the Blues in their horrendous title defence.

However, the 25-year-old has returned to those 2014/15 heights and indeed gone beyond them so far this season. He surpassed last season’s tally on October 30 against Sunderland, and reached nine goals by Christmas, two more than at the same stage two years ago.

His form has been destructive, with arguably his best display coming in their 5-0 thumping of Everton last month, where he was simply sensational.

The understanding between him and Costa has been first-class, and more of that will likely see Chelsea crowned champions come May.
