Having failed to score a league goal until April; Eden Hazard finally produced what he is capable of towards the end of the campaign, gaining him Shoot’s Player of the Month award for his performances in May.

The 25-year-old will not want to remember this season – the same as all Chelsea fans. Last season’s PFA Player of the Year was a shadow of his former self this term, only netting four goals this term.

However, Hazard scored twice during the final month, with both goals being at the highest standard, making everyone remember the Hazard of old.

The Belgian grabbed the second Chelsea goal in the fiery 2-2 draw at home against Tottenham at the start of the month, which ended Spurs’ title chances, much to the delight of the Stamford Bridge faithful.

A week later, Hazard produced more magic at Anfield as Chelsea collected a 1-1 draw against Liverpool. Hazard jinked his way through the Liverpool backline before perfectly placing the ball into the bottom corner.
