Chinese outfit Tianjin Quanjian are reportedly preparing a gigantic £80m offer for Chelsea star Diego Costa, according to The Sun.

The Premier League side, who sit top of the top-flight standings after recording their 13th straight league win against Stoke City on Saturday afternoon, were understood to have rejected a £50m bid from the same club for the Spain international striker back in November.

The 28-year-old, who has 14 international caps for his country, has impressively scored 13 goals and provided five assists in 20 appearances in all competitions for The Blues so far this season.

Costa, who arrived at Stamford Bridge from La Liga side Atletico Madrid back in July 2014, has been instrumental in Antonio Conte’s men’s rise to the summit of the Premier League table this term.

However, the report suggests that the striker could earn a whopping £480,000-a-week with Tianjin, who are managed by Italy’s 2006 FIFA World Cup winner Fabio Cannavaro.

Chelsea have already offloaded one player to China this campaign, selling Oscar to Shanghai SIPG for a fee in the region of £60m.
