Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte has revealed that captain John Terry will not make his return from an ankle injury when the Blues face Hull this weekend.

The 35-year-old sustained the injury in the draw against Swansea and has missed all three fixtures in all competitions since.

Despite being rumoured to be fit for the 3-0 defeat at Arsenal last weekend, the Italian has now, speaking ahead of the trip to the KCOM Stadium, said that we will have to wait until after the international break to see the former England captain back in action.

“John Terry is not available. He hasn’t recovered from his injury to his ankle,” the former Juventus boss said.

“I think we will likely see him after the international break,” he added.

As well as their captain, the South London side are also without Mikel Jon Obi who is suffering from a muscle problem, whilst Kurt Zouma is still out for around a month.
