Tottenham secured a valuable three points against Crystal Palace on Sunday, with goals from Harry Kane, Lucas Moura and Son Heung-Min giving them a 3-0 victory.

The win, the sixth of Antonio Conte’s reign across all competitions, moves Spurs into fifth, six points behind rivals Arsenal, although they do have three games in hand on the Gunners.

The victory over Palace also saw a welcome goal for Harry Kane, whose uncharacteristic dry-spell in front of goal has hindered Spurs’ progress so far this term.

Now, with the January transfer window in mind, speculation is building around potential targets for Conte in his first window in charge of the club.

Conte is waiting for a meeting with Fabio Paratici to discuss which players to target in the January window

Despite having the chance to bolster his squad, Football London reports that the Italian is still assessing his squad and will need more time before making big decisions on players’ futures.

The Italian is keen to allow all of the members of his squad the chance to prove their worth to him, and his record of improving seemingly unspectacular players and turning them into integral part of winning sides will provide some players with optimism.

Despite Conte’s lack of decision making thus far, the report suggests that the feeling within the club at present is that a new right-back and striker will be top of the club’s shopping list for next month’s window, along with a left-sided centre-back.

Matt Doherty is expected to leave the club in the coming weeks having failed to impress throughout his time in North London, while a forward to provide competition and allow the rotation of Harry Kane will also be a priority.
