Crystal Palace are reportedly offering £10m to Tottenham to sign Wales international defender Ben Davies, according to The Sun.

The Premier League side, who sit just one place above the top-flight’s relegation zone after suffering 13 defeats in their opening 21 league fixtures, have been heavily linked with luring the Spurs left-back to Selhurst Park during the January transfer window.

The 23-year-old, who has 28 international caps for his country and starred for Wales at UEFA Euro 2016 last summer, has scored one goal in 13 appearances in all competitions for the North London outfit so far this season.

Davies, who arrived at White Hart Lane back in July 2014 following his switch from fellow Premier League side Swansea City, is wanted by new Eagles boss Sam Allardyce after failing to land fellow full-back Patrick van Aanholt from his former club Sunderland.

The Welshman is currently manager Mauricio Pochettino’s back-up option behind regular left-back Danny Rose, although he has played 69 times for Tottenham overall.
