Crystal Palace are reportedly weighing up a £16.6m January bid for Algeria international Yacine Brahimi, according to the Surrey Mirror.

The Premier League side, who lost 1-0 at rock-bottom Aston Villa in midweek, have been linked alongside Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United in the race to sign the FC Porto star this month.

The 25-year-old winger, who has 26 international caps for his country, has scored six goals in 24 appearances in all competitions for the Portuguese giants this season.

Brahimi, who joined Porto for a reported €6.5m back in July 2014 from Grenada, is wanted by Eagles boss Alan Pardew to help Palace push for European football next term.
