Crystal Palace are considering bringing back Denmark international forward Nicklas Bendtner to the Premier League this month, as reported by The Independent.

The Eagles, who currently sit eighth in the league standings follow three consecutive defeats, are exploring the possibility of a loan deal for the former Arsenal striker.

The 28-year-old, who has 73 international caps for his country, has scored four goals in 16 appearances in all competitions for Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg this season.

Bendtner, who left the Gunners back in August 2014 for the German club, is wanted by Palace boss Alan Pardew as striking cover for the remainder of the 2015-16 campaign.

The ex-Arsenal hitman has also been linked with a January move to Newcastle United in the past.
