Crystal Palace have reportedly rejected an £18 million bid from Everton for winger Yannick Bolasie, according to the Guardian.

Toffees manager Ronald Koeman has been looking to strengthen his squad ever since he succeeded Roberto Martinez as boss of the Merseyside outfit in June, but has so far only brought in goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg and midfielder Idrissa Gueye to Goodison Park, despite rumours that he has £100 million to spend this summer.

Now the Dutchman is understood to have made the Democratic Republic of Congo international his transfer priority before the Premier League season starts this weekend, but the club’s initial offer is believed to be £12 million short of Palace’s £30 million valuation.

Bolasie has made 143 appearances in all competitions for the Eagles since joining them from Bristol City in 2012, scoring 13 goals, but the 27-year-old is said to be considering his future at Selhurst Park following the arrival of Andros Townsend from Newcastle.
