Crystal Palace are reportedly planning a £10m January move for England international Jonjo Shelvey.

The Premier League club, who currently sit five points off fourth spot in seventh place, are keen on recruiting the Swansea City midfielder who has fallen out-of-favour at the Liberty Stadium this term.

The 23-year-old, who has six international caps for the Three Lions, has scored one goal and assisted three others in 16 leagues games for the managerless Swans so far this season.

Eagles boss Alan Pardew is keen on thrashing out a deal for Shelvey this month after he reportedly fell out with Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins over the dismissal of former boss Garry Monk last year.

Rivals Newcastle United are also thought to be interested in Shelvey’s services this New Year.
