One of the signings of the season in the Premier League has undoubtedly been Yohan Cabaye’s move from PSG to Crystal Palace, and the France international has certainly oozed class at Selhurst Park this term.

In fact, the midfielder is the club’s joint-top goalscorer in the top flight with five goals, while his ability on the ball has been a real step up for a Palace side that was aiming for a top half finish.

Name: Scott Dann
Position: Centre-Back

It has been another impressive season at the heart of the Crystal Palace defence for Scott Dann – so much so that many have tipped him to receive a call-up to the England squad.

As well as some strong performances at the back, the former Birmingham City man has proved a real threat at the other end of the pitch as well, scoring five league goals.

Name: James McArthur
Position: Midfielder

Despite currently being out because of injury, the Scotland international has impressed next to Cabaye in the centre of Palace’s midfield, and is the player in the middle of the park who likes to put his foot in and win the ball back.

He has quickly become an integral part of Alan Pardew’s team, and it is surely no coincidence that the club’s league form has really dropped off since the 28-year-old has been on the sidelines.
