Name: Wilfried Zaha
After an impressive 2015 for Alan Pardew and Crystal Palace, 2016 hasn’t started off in quite the same manner with four consecutive defeats.
With just one goal scored and 11 conceded, it’s testing times for the Eagles, who were considered as serious contenders for a European spot on New Year’s Day.
But despite their recent dip, Wilfried Zaha (and his new hairstyle) has still performed at a high level and has been the Eagles’ standout player in January.
The winger set up his side’s only goal of the month when his cross turned in for an own goal by Jan Vertonghen against Spurs, while he has always given his opposing full-back a busy 90 minutes, especially against Danny Rose in the same match.
If the 23-year-old’s team-mates can find their feet once more, then the talented Selhurst Park outfit should be back on track in no time.
