It was certainly an inconsistent November for Crystal Palace, who began with a brilliant 2-1 win at Anfield, that ended Jurgen Klopp’s unbeaten start as Liverpool manager.

The Eagles’ Congolese winger opened the scoring in that game, and despite failing to find the target in the disappointing 1-0 loss at home to lowly Sunderland in their next match, he put in his best performance of the month in the 5-1 crushing of Newcastle at Selhurst Park on Saturday.

The pacey wide man gave the Toon defenders nightmares with his trickery and direct running, scoring two goals that helped lift his side up to seventh in the Premier League table.
