Arsenal could reportedly look to part with England international striker Danny Welbeck, according to The Telegraph.
The Premier League side, who have signed five new players so far this transfer window – Stephan Lichtsteiner, Bernd Leno, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi – have been linked with offloading the forward this summer ahead of the forthcoming 2018-19 campaign.
The 27-year-old, who has 40 international caps for the Three Lions, scored 10 goals and provided two assists in 43 appearances in all competitions for The Gunners last season.
Welbeck, who was part of England’s World Cup squad at this year’s finals, played just 11 minutes of the Three Lions’ campaign in Russia following his substitute appearance against Belgium in Group G.
However, upon his return to North London, his future at Arsenal is in doubt as new manager Unai Emery prepares to shorten his first-team squad.
It is understood Welbeck and goalkeeper David Ospina, 29, are the two highest-profile players who could be offloaded by Arsenal this summer transfer window.
Welbeck is contracted at the Emirates Stadium until June 2019, and is valued at £13.5m.
