Derby poised to complete £1.25m signing of international midfielder

Derby County are reportedly closing in on the signing of Guinea international Abdoul Camara.

The Championship outfit, who currently sit two points behind league leaders Middlesbrough heading into Christmas, have been scouting the Angers playmaker for the majority of this campaign.

The 25-year-old, who has 16 international caps for his country, has scored twice in 17 league appearances for the Ligue 1 side so far this season.

French reports suggest that Paul Clement’s Rams are agreeing terms over a £1.25m deal for Camara, which will see him pen a three-and-a-half-year deal at the iPro Stadium next month.
