Derby County are reportedly considering a move for West Brom striker Victor Anichebe.

The Championship outfit are thought to be interested in the forward’s services ahead of the close of the transfer window following the Baggies’ club record signing of Salomon Rondon earlier this summer.

The 27-year-old, who arrived at The Hawthorns from Everton back in 2013, scored six goals in 25 appearances in all competitions last season for Tony Pulis’ side.

It is understood that Paul Clement’s Rams are in talks with the Midlands club over a £3m move for the Nigeria striker, who has 11 international caps to his name.

However, West Brom maybe be reluctant to show Anichebe the exit should England forward Saido Berahino complete a move to Tottenham before September 1.
