Shoot! would like to wish Poland international and FC Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski many happy returns as the striker celebrates his 29th birthday today!

The birthday boy, who has 86 international caps for his country – only seven other footballers have represented Poland more times – has already been on fire for defending Bundesliga champions Bayern this season, scoring four goals in his opening three competitive outings.

Lewandowski, who arrived at the Allianz Arena back in July 2014 following his move from German rivals Borussia Dortmund, netted a remarkable 43 times and provided 10 assists in 47 appearances in all competitions for Carlo Ancelotti’s side last term.

In fact; the Pole has scored 114 times in just 150 games overall for Bayern, winning three league titles, the German Cup and the German Super Cup, undeniably becoming one of Europe’s most prolific forwards.
