According to Calcio Mercato, Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata is still a target of Chelsea despite his social media comments.
Morata reaffirmed his allegiance to Real Madrid this week, but Chelsea are still in the hunt to land their target who still can’t get a run of games for Los Blancos.
The 24 year-old is said to be frustrated with Real boss Zinedine Zidane for not keeping promises made about playing time and has informed his entourage to listen to offers this summer.
The Blues will have to pay a premium if they want to secure the Spain international. Morata is being valued at £51m with the Spanish giants open to a deal if they receive a bid for that amount at the end of the season.
Chelsea will have to fight off Arsenal and Morata’s former club Juventus who are keen to reprise the him. The forward returned to the Spanish capital last summer in a £23 million deal.
