Arsenal will continue their Premier League title charge when they face Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday.

The Gunners defeated Luton Town 2-0 last time out and currently sit second in the table, two points behind leaders Liverpool.

Mikel Arteta’s side can move back to the summit with victory over the Seagulls, as the Reds don’t play until they face Manchester United on Sunday.

In the meantime, it appears that one of Arsenal’s England international contingent is set to leave the club this summer.

As per Football Insider, goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale will leave the North London club during the upcoming summer transfer window.

The Englishman has rarely played this season, having been usurped as Arteta’s first choice ‘keeper by David Raya, who joined on loan from Brentford in August.

Ramsdale is set to go to the Euros this summer despite his lack of playing time at club level

Ramsdale, 25, has been limited to just six Premier League starts so far this term, with his only two league appearances since September being Arsenal’s two matches against the Bees, when Raya was ineligible.

The ‘keeper joined Arsenal from Sheffield United in 2021, having previously impressed at Bournemouth before the Blades.

He quickly established himself as first choice ‘keeper in North London, making 34 league appearances during his debut season at The Emirates.

Ramsdale continued as Arteta’s number one last term, but was replaced as a starter by Raya following the Spaniard’s arrival on loan from Brentford – a move which is expected to be made permanent this summer.

It has previously been rumoured that Ramsdale is a target for Newcastle United, who have been without goalkeeper Nick Pope for much of the current campaign.

Ramsdale’s contract with Arsenal is set to expire at the end of the 2025/26 season.
