England international Theo Walcott could spark a transfer tug of war this summer as he reportedly wants to leave Arsenal, according to The Sun.
The Premier League side, who face Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon, is thought to be increasingly frustrated at his lack of first-team chances with the Londoners this campaign and could seek a move elsewhere.
The 27-year-old, who has 43 international caps for his country and is an outsider to make England’s Euro 2016 squad later this year in France, has scored nine goals and provided seven assists in 38 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners so far this season.
Walcott, who joined Arsene Wenger’s men from Southampton back in January 2006 in a deal worth up to £12m, has started just one top-flight fixture since the end of January .
The report suggests that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool could be encouraged to make a move, despite Walcott still having three years left on his current Arsenal deal.
