Ivory Coast international defender Eric Bailly is reportedly ready to quit Manchester United, according to the Mirror.

The Premier League side, who defeated Watford 2-1 at Vicarage Road on Saturday night, could lose the centre-back during the forthcoming January transfer window.

The 24-year-old, who has 30 international caps for his country, has started just two of The Red Devils’ opening five league fixtures so far this season.

Bailly, who scored one goal in 18 appearances in all competitions last season, replaced Antonio Valencia in stoppage time during Saturday’s win at Watford.

The Ivorian, who arrived at Old Trafford back in June 2016 following his reported £30m move from Villarreal, has racked up 60 first-team outings for United overall.

However, the report claims the defender is considering leaving the Theatre of Dreams in the New Year, having been relegated to manager Jose Mourinho’s substitutes bench, with North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur understood to be interested in the player’s services.

Bailly is contracted at Old Trafford until June 2020, and is now valued at £31.5m.
