Tottenham will be looking to put their weekend Premier League disappointment behind them at the first time of asking when they travel to Belgium on Thursday night to take on KAA Gent in their UEFA Europa League Round of 32 first leg tie (18:00).

Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at Anfield to the hands of Liverpool saw Spurs drop down to third in the top-flight standings, 10 points adrift of league leaders Chelsea.

Next up for Mauricio Pochettino’s men, a tricky trip to the Ghelamco Arena.

The hosts, who lost 1-0 to Eupen on Saturday, have themselves slid down their respective domestic league table, dropping to eighth spot in the Jupiler Pro League.

However, towering forward Kalifa Coulibaly is the man to watch out for on Thursday, with the Mali international scoring three goals in his last three Europa League outings.

Meanwhile for Tottenham, star striker Harry Kane is undoubtedly the main threat, alongside England team-mate Dele Alli, having scored 16 goals in all competitions this season.

So, with Coulibaly and Kane set to go head-to-head on Thursday evening, here is how they match up in European competitions this term…
