Liverpool return to Anfield on Thursday night in their attempts to overturn a one-goal deficit against Villarreal in their bid to reach this year’s Europa League final in Basel, Switzerland.

The Reds; who disappointingly lost 3-1 to Swansea City in the Premier League at the weekend, are set to hand forward Roberto Firmino a start on Merseyside, who has scored just once in the competition so far this term.

Meanwhile the visitors, who currently sit fourth in La Liga, could feature former Tottenham Hotspur striker Roberto Soldado, who never scored against Liverpool during his spell at White Hart Lane.
