Manchester United will look to record a third successive win in the Europa League when they travel to Fenerbahce this evening.

Jose Mourinho’s side will be looking to stamp their mark on the group with victory in Turkey, and will be hoping that striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic returns to form after a barren run in front of goal.

The Swedish international has scored just once in his last ten games for United, and missed a whole host of chances in their 0-0 draw with Burnley last weekend.

However, the Red Devils will once again be up against former forward Robin van Persie on Thursday evening, and he once again showed his credentials to the Old Trafford faithful with a fine goal in the match a fortnight ago.

The Dutch forward netted 58 times in 104 appearances for United during a two-year spell at the club, and helped inspire them to their most-recent Premier League title in 2013.

So, with both key forwards set to go head-to-head this evening, here is how van Persie and Ibrahimovic match up in this season’s Europa League…
