Europa League: Teodorczyk v Ibrahimovic

Manchester United travel to Anderlecht on Thursday (8.05pm kick-off) for the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final.

Jose Mourinho’s men got the better of FC Rostov in the round of 16 to progress in Europe’s secondary competition, knowing that winning the tournament would secure them a berth in next season’s Champions League.

And the Red Devils will once again be looking to in-form striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic to inspire them to victory, given that he netted his 28th goal of the campaign in their 3-0 success at Sunderland on Sunday.

However, it won’t be easy for Mourinho’s men against an Anderlecht side that topped the Belgium First Division with 18 wins from their 30 matches, and have picked up a win and a draw from their Championship play-off campaign thus far.

And one man they’ll be hoping can lead them to victory on Thursday night is striker Lukasz Teodorczyk, who has scored five goals in nine Europa League appearances this season, including a brace in their 6-1 thrashing of Mainz back in November.
