Everton and Arsenal are set to battle it out for the signing of Thorgan Hazard.

According to a report in The Sun both clubs are keen to bring the Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder to the Premier League.

Thorgan, the brother of Chelsea star Eden, also had a spell at Stamford Bridge but left the club for Germany without playing a game.

The 24-year-old has enjoyed two impressive campaigns with Gladbach in the Champions League and is keen to return to England after Gladbach finished their Bundesliga campaign in ninth place missing out entirely on European competition.

Ronald Koeman is looking for young emerging talents with Hazard a potential replacement for Ross Barkley who, ironically, could be on his way to Arsenal.

Whether Arsene Wenger stays or not Arsenal have big decisions to make over the coming weeks as Jack Wilshere, Mesut Ozil and Alex Oxlade Chamberlain enter the final year of their contracts.
