Everton are reportedly monitoring Denmark international Jannik Vestergaard.

The Premier League outfit, who currently sit 11th in the table following their 2-1 defeat to Arsenal last weekend, are interested in recruiting the Werder Bremen centre-half during the January transfer window.

The 23-year-old, who has four international caps to his name, has scored one goal in 11 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit so far this season, conceding 11 goals.

Vestergaard was one of the stars of this summer’s UEFA European Under-21 Championships, with his impressive performances also alerting Premier League rivals Newcastle United and Tottenham to his availability.
