Everton are reportedly closing in on a £13.5 million deal to sign Lokomotiv Moscow striker Oumar Niassse, according to the Guardian.

The Senegal international was keen to make a move to the Premier League, and he is understood to be travelling to Merseyside to discuss terms on Monday.

Toffees boss Roberto Martinez has been looking to sign a player to replace Steven Naismith and provide competition for Romelu Lukaku, and looks set to complete a deal for the 25-year-0ld before the window closes tonight.

Niasse, who has scored 12 goals and provided 10 assists in just 21 Russian Premier League matches this season, was named as the division’s player of 2015.
