Everton completed a double Deadline Day signing with Aaron Lennon and Ramiro Funes Mori joining the Premier League club.

Lennon, 28, who was on loan with the Toffees last season from Tottenham, returns to Goodison Park for an undisclosed fee after signing a permanent three-year deal with Roberto Martinez’s side, for a fee of around £4.5m.

The England winger, who has 21 international caps to his name, scored twice in 14 appearances for Everton last term.

Furthermore, manager Martinez has strengthened his defensive ranks with the acquisition of Argentine centre-half Mori from River Plate.

The 24-year-old, who made his full international debut against El Salvador back in March, joins for a reported fee worth £9.5m after penning a five-year deal at the club.
