Everton favourites to sign £40,000-a-week Premier League starlet on loan

Everton are reportedly in the running to land Burkina Faso international starlet Bertrand Traore on loan, according to The Sun.

The Premier League side, who drew 3-3 with Chelsea on Saturday, are interested in signing the highly-rated Blues midfielder this month.

The 20-year-old, who already has 20 international caps to his name, has played just 64 minutes of first-team football for the defending Premier League champions in all competitions this season.

However Toffees boss Roberto Martinez maybe concerned Chelsea will pursue an agreement for England international defender John Stones in return, with Guus Hiddink’s side also wanting any loanee club to fully cover Traore’s £40,000-a-week wages.
