Everton are weighing up making an offer for Kelechi Iheanacho.

According to a report in The Sun the Nigerian has grown frustrated by his lack of opportunities at Manchester City and is likely to be further down the pecking order once Pep Guardiola starts to deal in the summer transfer market.

Iheanacho has scored eight goals for City this season but hasn’t started a match since January 2.

It was assumed that City would send the 20-year-old out on a season long loan next term but if Everton were to offer £20m City may cash in.

Ronald Koeman is looking to bring in up and coming talent with strikers a priority with Romelu Lukaku likely to be sold during the close season.

If Iheanacho is made available for sale Newcastle are expected to show an interest but Everton are confident that they can offer the Nigerian the best financial and footballing offer.
