Everton have joined Aston Villa in the race for Anton Donkor.
According to a report in The Express Ronald Koeman has made an approach to Wolfsborg for the 19-year-old.
Donkor has still to make his first team debut and was believed to be on his way to Villa on a month long loan with a view to completing a permanent deal.
Everton have now made an approach to Wolfsborg for the 19-year-old with Ronald Koeman keen to bring emerging talent to Goodison Park.
At the start of January Everton paid Charlton £11m for Ademola Lookman with the teenager already making an impact in the Premier League.
Donkor is rated as one of the top teenagers in German football but is believed to be keen to try English football.
Villa would be able to offer the 19-year-old a quicker chance of first team football but the wages and signing on fee from Everton would be superior.
