Everton line up Diao

Everton have joined the race for Keita Balde Diao.

According to a report on TalkSPORT the Lazio striker is already on the wanted list of Chelsea, Manchester United and Inter Milan.

Diao has got one year left on his current deal with Lazio likely to cash in this summer rather than try to match the contracts on offer elsewhere.

Everton are bracing themselves for the likely sale of Romelu Lukaku and looking far and wide for other attacking options regardless of whether the Belgian stays or is sold.

With 16 goals from 31 Serie A appearances the 22-year-old has all the credentials to succeed in the Premier League with Ronald Koeman keen to bring in quality similar to Lukaku.

A number of top strikers are expected to be on the move this summer with Koeman aware that an early bid for the Lazio man will be needed before the merry-go-round gets fully underway.
