Everton are lining up January loan move for West Ham’s Reece Oxford but the youngster is seeking a permanent move, according to the Daily Mail.

Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini hinted that he may benefit with a move away following speculation around the 20-year-old’s future.

The Toffees will face stiff competition to land Oxford though, with both Manchester City and German side Borussia Monchengladbach reported to be interested.

Oxford has yet to feature under Manuel Pellegrini.

The versatile talent has come through the Irons’ youth set-up but, due to lack of opportunities, it is thought the England U20 international is seeking a permanent move in order to develop as a player.

Oxford, who turned 20 on Sunday, spent the last two seasons on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach and is in need of regular football.

There’s no doubt that the Hammer has big potential and this news is sure to cause a battle for his signature.
