Everton looking to sign Juventus midfielder Emre Can in January despite interest from Manchester United, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport. 

New Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti is keen to add quality to his squad in January following his surprise appointment to the North West club in December.

Juventus midfielder Emre Can, seems to be a top contender according to reports, but the Italian manager will have to compete with Manchester United for his signature.

Ancelotti is eyeing reinforcements at Everton.

Rumours also suggest, Can would welcome a return to the Premier League following his time in England with Liverpool. Coupled with the fact, he is struggling for game time in Serie A.

Experienced coach would have seen Can play in Italy, whilst he was at the helm at Napoli, and will know what the Germany international could bring to his under-performing Everton squad.

Although Man United have been linked with Can, it’s clear that a lot of their focus will be getting the deal of Bruno Fernandes over the line.
